WELCOME TO LES PETITS LUTINS School
Les Petits Lutins School is a bilingual, exciting, motivating and inclusive nursery and Pre School where every individual, old and young, is valued.
Our motto is 'Let's Inspire!' and this underpins everything we do. We believe that education is a partnership between home and school and we try to involve parents/carers in all aspects of school life and especially bilingualism.
Parents make an important decision when choosing a Nursery for their child. We, like you, want the best possible start to your child's school life within a safe, secure and stimulating environment. At Les Petits Lutins School our aim is to ensure that children's minds are opened, their imaginations sparked, they enjoy learning and become confident bilinguals.

Bilingualism through immersion
- Les Petits Lutins School follows the English EYFS and the French National Curriculum set by the French governing body "l’Education Nationale". Class levels are determined by children’s year of birth. Subsequently, your child will be taught in English in the morning and in French in the afternoon, or vice versa.
- The programme is taught in both French and English, which means that the children will not just learn these languages but will in fact be learning through them. This is what is meant by true bilingualism through immersion.
- The curriculum is taught in French by a French native language speaker, and in English by a teacher whose mother tongue is English. It is a requirement to ensure that your child hears and speaks the two languages as best as possible
- The school offers complete bilingual education, all the while ensuring that the child’s mother tongue is well acquired. If needed, weekly additional learning support will also be available to children.
